ELIGIBILITY FOR JOINT ENTRANCE TEST
The admission to the Diploma Engineering Courses is made through the Joint Entrance Test. 85% seats are reserved for the internal candidates from within the State of Punjab and 15% seats are open to all candidates on All India basis.
ELIGIBILITY FOR MANAGEMENT QUOTA
The test is open to candidates who have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English, provided that a candidate who has appeared for the qualifying examination but whose result has not been declared shall be admitted provisionally to the Joint Entrance Test but his/her candidature shall be cancelled if he/she fails to qualify in the qualifying examination or fails to produce the proof of his/her having qualified at the time of counseling. Such candidates will have no claim, whatsoever, with regard to the admission to any course.
Every year eligibility criteria is defined by the Govt. Notification which is issued by the Secretary, Technical Education before the conduct of JET.
